About ChristNet Services

Our History

Founded in 1992, ChristNet convened in the City of Taylor in June and September of 1992  The driving force came from works at St. Paul United Church of Christ, St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church and West Mound United Methodist Church, all of Taylor.

With the support of a handful of other Taylor churches the eight-week pilot program was organized for January-February of 1993.  Each participating church agreed to host the guest of ChristNet overnight for one week, from Sunday evening through the following Sunday morning.

In subsequent years churches from Allen Park, Brownstown, Dearborn, Ecorse, Flat Rock, Rockwood, Southgate, Taylor, Trenton, Woodhaven, and Wyandotte have become affilated with ChristNet Services.
